American aviatrix Jane Dodge crashes her plane in the jungle. Constructing a costume out of giraffe hide and parachute cords, she goes in search of people. Jane observes Nurla, claiming to be the Moon Goddess, deceiving the inhabitants of Towla Village into helping her steal sacred pearls from a neighbouring village. Jane intervenes and prevents bloodshed between the two villages. The people of Towla have Jane fight a leopard to prove her worthiness, then designate her Rulah, their "jungle goddess." |
