The medicine man of the bird people misinterprets a prophecy and for a while, the bird people believe Kaänga to be evil. But when Kaänga assists women being attacked by wild dogs, the bird people realize the truth.
Hagar, priestess of the apes, warns Amrâna, the tribal prince, that his people should continue to pay tribute to the ape god. Amrâna refuses until he and his men are attacked by the apes and saved by Hagar.
