Mel Mason, assistant to chief engineer James Cook, of Borden Electronics, is feverishly working to iron out the details of the new Borden Device to transmit pictures in full color by wire. This work requires continual telephone contact with their laboratory at Belmar, fifty miles away. But in the main plant at Lamar, Mel is in for trouble that has little to do with electronics. |
