Comment: Wonder Man makes his first and only appearance in this issue - his strip was stopped by DC Comics because the character was too much like Superman. William G. "Gangbuster" Robinson also makes his first appearance; he is a young lawyer who has been appointed a special prosecutor owing to the graft and corruption among the members of his town's police force. In most frames, someone has added a beard to "Gangbuster" Robinson's face with a crayon.

Synopsis: Fred Carson, timid radio engineer and inventor, was given a ring by an old Tibetan which makes him impervious and the strongest man on Earth. His boss asks him to accompany his daughter Brenda (or Nora- the text is inconsistent) as she joins the Red Cross to help in a foreign war. When they arrive, the base comes under attack. Carson becomes Wonder Man, defends the base, puts an end to the war and feeds the populace.
