Synopsis:	Wendy dates co-worker Burt, but he is not physically demonstrative so she doubts his love. She is swept off her feet by auto racer Mike, whose passionate nature puts her in “a feverish glow.” However, Mike postpones their wedding so he can race in Paris, and Burt comes back into Wendy’s life. She decides Burt is the man she loves after all. Burt admits he loaned Mike the money to go to Paris.

She mistakenly thought Tom was a draft dodger, then discovered he was in the secret service and couldn’t tell her. They reconcile but Tom is killed in action before they can marry. Pam, inspired by this, calls Bill and he explains the “other woman” was his sister. They reconcile.

She hooks up with basketball player Tex on the rebound. Marion agrees to tutor Ed so he can return to the team. They win the big game and Marion and Ed make up.

Ann explains the truth about Tony. Andy and Carol reconcile and get married.
