| I believe this 1944 issue is c2c even though it is only 60 pages. Some of Eastern's Famous Funnies during late 1943 to 1944 were also 60 pages before being reduced to 56 pages. Mickey Finn #3 on DCM has no ads yet is 68 pages (although missing the outer wrap). My issue #4 also has no ads, but in 3 places has pages which APPEAR to have been cut out, however due to the fact that the cut is almost perfect and is very close to the spine I believe that the individual pages in this 3 instances were merely single page size rather than being the typical folio. I've seen this in other comics from this period so perhaps since the war was on the page reductions were due to the paper shortage. |
