Comment: Just lovely stuff. I suppose one could fault Kelly for layering a certain sentimentalism over a Nature not inclined to show mercy in the struggle for survival between species, but it is so well done -- and as a ad for bakery products, of all things -- that I cut him plenty of slack. I've come to be more fond of Kelly's Peter Wheat fables than his Pogo strips. Yikes!
