Well illustrated tales of (mostly) ironic events. Post-Code "suspense" work that is as good as almost anything that appeared on the Twilight Zone television series, several years before there was such a television program. Good stuff, pure and simple. |

Fate, ie The Man in Black, is the executive of the beautiful Weaver, who weaves our destinies (although sometimes the Man In Black seems to operate according to his own will, at others he is very subordinate). Sometimes they are at odds with Venus who has her own ideas about how things ought to turn out (based on the power of human emotion). The three are in their own graphically distinct dimension and it all works rather well. |
