Tying Kaänga, he plans to have Ann behead him, but Kaänga breaks free and Kongola is devoured by leopards. Ann, however, remains in a drugged state.

Synopsis: Jewel thieves use Camilla's friendly reception at the village of the B'togis as an opportunity to get inside the walled village. They escape with the tribe's gold and Camilla and the chief's daughter as captives. The thieves attempt to leave the jungle in a helium balloon, but Camilla brings to balloon down with a spear and the thieves are killed by the tribe. Camilla kills the chief thief herself, forcing him to shoot himself in the head.
